[alotment shed]

hi i have allready got pure breed..... gold laced polish .....welsummer....light sussex... but want to start a new one off . what do you people sugest >?   i want a very nice breed but dont want to spend loads on a trio of them tho ... any ideas  please dont say choclate orpingtons  ... im not rich lol any advise would be great

I would go for something like a Spangled Hamburg Bantam.

They aren't the best layers out there and the eggs are small - but the yolks are the same size as a normal egg, just less white.  And everyone knows its all about the yolk!!!

Fairly tame and good with kids...
