Hello All,

My fella came back from work today with an enormous hunk of comb honey he'd been given by the resident bee keeper.  It look delicious, but there is lots of it...does any one have any advice on how to store it, and what to do with the surplus (if I eat it all, I will probably give myself diabetes!).

Hmm, don't know.

We do have a beekeeper or two on here so hopefully they will be along soon to answer your question.

Just pop it in a jar or any container and eat it when the fancy takes you.

It won't go off and doesn't need to be in the fridge but needs protecting from insects who will be attracted to it. It mat crystallise but that is not a problem to the flavour or keeping qualities.
