just checked my bottle of tylan soluble and whilst it says for egg layers nil withdrawal I have always assumed this is after treatment. So depending on what length of period your vet said to administer the antibiotics I would throw the eggs away until the day after.

I never eat the eggs whilst using antibiotics and then with Tylan and Aureomycin I start eating their eggs the day after. Just read on my bottle the dosage for myco in layers is 0.5g per litre for 72 hours.

Hi Joyful & Others again, lol
I got a soft shelled egg laid my one of my girls yesterday. It was laid by one
of my warrens (under 1 year old) and my black rocks still laying pullet sized eggs at mo
which i got 2 of.. Do you think this could be related to using the TYLAN or do you think
this could be another problem on top of the sneezing they got???

P.S. They have plenty of food and plenty of grit e.t.c so cannot see this as an issue!

Thanks
