Title: Double yolkers
Post by: Aidy on May 04, 2018, 23:14
Question: Why am I getting tons of double yolkers and me mate aint?

I have been getting a min of 1 double a day for the last 3 weeks and yet my mate who bought his chucks at the same time, from the same place and has 4 of the same breed has only had one double!
Could this be down to diet? Me spending time talking to them everynight? My secret recipe for corn tarts (treats) or just the fact they love me to bits?
Not that I am complaining of course.

Corn tarts  ???  Spoiled chucks or what

Given that chickens love to eat, I would put money on the corn tarts, but I'm sure they appreciate the chats and the attention.

Well fed, relaxed chucks who feel at ease round you will always lay better  :)
