We've got a yellow warning for wind but it's not too bad ... yet

Not too bad at 8º, light rain on and off. Dilemma - do I clean out the chickens today or hope tomorrow is better?

Very mild today, 15c in the polytunnel when I visited the plot earlier. Looks like it's going to tip it down soon though.

Mild, but grey and drizzly here, with the promise of more rain later and a return to winter tomorrow - whoop, whoop 

Same thing here  When the wind picks up and changes to a Northerly (about lunchtime) it is forecast to drop 4degrees over an hour or so Brrr!

Wind starting to pick up. 7C  with blustery shores, now including hail.

The wind is insane tonight - I reckon gusting to at least 70mph  - things crashing and banging around out there. Wonder if I'll have a greenhouse in the morning.

Lay listening to the wind and worrying until 3:30 am when I just had to take the torch and check. Not that I could have done anything, but all looked OK. Fell asleep around 5:00 am - looks to be still OK and it's slightly calmer although anything not fixed has been flying around.
Still pretty windy out there but it's supposed to calm down this afternoon.  Fingers crossed!

Getting colder here; has been windy but no damage at home. With still resting the damaged leg the allotment will have to wait but there's no greenhouses up there.

Through the window, it looks like March here  In reality it is 6C, bright, bit of blue sometimes, but with strong gusts from the North howling down the chimney.
Thankfully the greenhouses are protected from the wind when it blows that way.

Clear blue sky, thermometer says 4.6C but wind-chill says -5C. 

Good for wind power electricity generation though (nearly a third of our electricity currently coming from it - no pun intended!  )

6C but feels like 3, with strong north wind. Looks lovely with plenty of sunshine, but that wind is bitter!

So windy last night, couldn't hear the TV,  but I always have subtitles anyway.   Sunny today, wind still howling down chimney.   Put washing out and by the time I got back in, it was twisted all around the lines, so back in doors now.    Like John, I too was worried about the greenhouse and everything.    Mrs Bouquet
