Harvesting Pumpkins

Hi, we have had a lot of produce theft over the last few months. What is the earliest I can harvest my pumpkins for halloween. If I lose them half a dozen small children will be disappointed. They have been watching the white ones grow

I've harvested mine as early as September and left them to cure in the sunshine for a couple of weeks. They kept until Halloween every time.

Thanks for that. I will harvest in the next week or so. We have storage. I'll leave the crown prince and musquee de provence a little longer. The thieves seem to be going for more mundane stuff, but the pumpkins could be targets. Thanks again
