Unless you have money to spare it couldn't be easier to build your own.  Even I, a laydee of a certain age have managed to produce eight of these and four half sized ones.  As it says above, all you need is some timber, a drill, a saw and screws.

These are exactly what I want for my lotty!  They're fantastic Ice, well done.

I have a couple of questions if you dont mind.

What did you use for the corner posts?

Were you able to get the boards cut to size when you bought them or did you do this yourself? (I'm fairly handy but I have never mastered the art of cutting straight with a saw sadly)

I'm slowly reclaiming my lotty after 18months poor health and these will be just the ticket!

Corner posts are just treated 2x2" wood.  I sawed the wood myself as I seem to remember that they wouldn't saw them in the shop because the wood had been treated.  Not a problem if the line isn't straight, it's a raised bed not a chippendale chair.  Just hide the worst ones where they aren't in full view, like I did.

ive built some similar to what Ice has built and they are ideal but, one thing to bear in mind is that they take near on a ton of soil to fill them

But if you put them on soil you don't need to fill them immediately.  Over time, with the addition of compost and manure they will fill adequately.  The soil on mine only comes halfway up the side and yes, you do need more soil than you would think.

Well apart from one which i filled up straight away that's what will be happening t the rest.

nice  will have to make some soon , plus bet it saves your back aswell , less bending

Not only less bending but much less digging too.  Just a twirl with the fork every now and then.
