My friend took me there once.  It is Awesome!  We didn't get into the house though as she is in a wheelchair, but wonderful gardens, and a surprise feature round every turn.  Did you see the tree made from metal?

No, I must hve missed that, theres just so much to see :)
If you want to be happy for a short time - get drunk.

If you want to be happy for a long time - fall in love.

If you want to be happy forever - take up gardening!

Went today, I have to say it is amazing, everything about it is superb, theres not a single angle anywhere in all of he gardens that doesnt have a magnificant view. Plus the veg area is superb, i got a bit jelous of all there beautiful veg, espicially onions. As we walked round a few of the red currants just jumped into our mouthes, honest   :tongue2:

Going again if you want to come along.  Don't eat all the berries next time, leave some for the rest of us.

Chatsworth is one of my all time favourite places in the entire world.  We've been Friends of Chatsworth for a couple of years now and think that it is money well spent.  There's always something new to look at and the grounds are magnificent.

My favourite view is from the top of the water steps looking down onto the house and the hills beyond but I really enjoy exploring behind there to see what new areas have been created and planted up.

Can't wait to go again very soon.

I live close by and I've never been to see the house decked out for Christmas. They say it's magical and I aim to see it this year or bust  :D

It is a wonderful house and garden and to see it takes ages to allow yourself plenty of time, eg a week   :D

It is a very accessible place and is always open to walkers and picnickers and it's free unless you go into the house and garden.  I don't think they charge anything to park on days when there's no events

There is a spectacular food hall but that's short way off from the house. Worth a visit though

Have just googled it and it sounds marvellous.  Will be looking for a full report as it is too far away for me to visit
