I have 2 greenhouses absolutely packed out with trays of bedding, geraniums etc.
Runner beans a foot high etc etc.  But on top of the S. Downs here today its again blowing and gusting.  Tree branchs are coming down, and new leaves are being shredded, foxgloves and columbine are snapped off.  In addition it keeps monsooning rain in deluges. And then, as if to get its own back, the sun comes out 

Now I know we like to moan about our weather, but I am really nervous about subjecting all these little babies to the vagaries of my garden.

What are you all doing, risking it or what.  Mrs Bouquet

I had to do a bit of emergency covering of my Brassicas at the weekend, the rest has just had to take the salt laden gale force winds and if they don't like it, they will have a problem.

It has been blowing a hooligan for at least three weeks here and great damage is done to seedlings that have been planted out in the good weather

I recall one year we had weather such as yours along with cold temperatures and I had to wait until the end of the first week of June before I could plant out. Thought it was too late but the plants actually did well because they hadn't been battered about and wasting energy on recovering.
