Beegly.

Our drive is made up of bricks. In between these bricks are weeds of all shapes and sizes popping up.

Any advice on the most effortless way of dealing with them? Salt, path clear, Jays Fluid, gas gun etc.

Cheers in advance.

If you're not trying to be organic, Pathclear is good (tho' there's probably someone round here can give you a cheaper alternative).

If you are trying to be organic, follow my neighbour's example - find a few small children and pay them a penny for every weed (with roots) they pull up and an extra tuppence for any dandelion heads they keep without dropping the seeds
Nobody said this was going to be easy ... but some days are better than others!

Pathclear was banned 18 months ago, Eu again. Don't yet know how the replacements are fairing, not had any comments from customers yet.

I've got some Wilko sodium chlorate weedkiller which is for drives and paths.
I used it last year and it did eventually kill them off but was quite slow acting. I'm going to try it again very soon. And it was cheap-ish!

I assume that it's changed it's formulation, as it's still on sale. Was it banned as it contained paraquat?
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

I thought it was still on sale as well??

Thing is, I can't spot weed them due to being on a lecky scooter or wheel chair, would take me hours...I could do with something that I just use from a watering can or similar.

Round up.

Is that in a spray type thing, or can you get a powder to mix in your watering can.

It's liquid, but you can use it from a can with a fine rose.

sodium chlorate mixed quite strong will kill any weed and nothing will grow back for a few years   (dont use on your veg patch ever)
feed the soil not the plants
organicish

I think I must have mixed the Sod. Chlor. too weak or used it too sparingly.

The weeds have come back stronger than ever.  :?

Got about 60ft of gravel about 2ft wide down middle of drive + cracks in concrete either side with lawn edging up to concrete.

Am I safe using a slightly stronger mix on the gravel ?
