strawberry question
« on: December 07, 2018, 09:25 »
I was watching a youtube video of a strawberry grower suggesting that all the leave should be trimmed off for over wintering... seems a bit extreme ? Does anybody have any advice for me about that .

I have done that in the past but much earlier than December so that fresh new leaves have time to grow.  Now I just cut off those leaves that look older i.e. darker green or are dead to make it "look nice"!

OK I think I will give them a haircut to get rid of some of the older leaves.
