Oliver is doing really well. Think he is the first thich cat I have ever had and I think the expression "Where there is no sense, there's no feeling" was made for him.

He was a bit clingy for the first couple of days but seems to be back to his usual self, bombing around like an idiot!
Be like a duck. Calm on the surface but always paddling like the dickens underneath.

Kate you spelt 'thick' wrong
Glad he's doing ok, cats do bounce back well dont they? :)
We have 17 chickens, 3 quail, 2 dogs, 3 cats and that's enough (for this week)

I'm so glad he's getting better Kate  :D Oliver's such a handsome and agile boy, I bet he's pleased the collar is off as well. I know what you mean about clingy as Thor has been since being ill, only thing is he'd getting more clingy by the day so I need Oliver to come over and teach him how to be a proper cat

Oliver is doing really, really well.

Wounds are healing very nicely with no evidence of infection and other than one accident right next to his litter tray no problems there, so much better than before!

I had been debating putting the collor back on him to go the the vets on Thursday so I didn't have to own up to being naughty and not doing as I was told but he looks so well and has completely ignored his stitches that I am just going to tell the truth!

Just looking forward to his fur growing back as he looks a bit silly with all the missing patches and his bum must be cold in this weather. :D

Aaah bless him.... the pink baboon bum look just isn't IN this year among the cat crowd.
Snappy

No amount of time can erase the memory of a good cat, and no amount of masking tape can ever totally remove his fur from your couch.

I could give up chocolate but I'm not a quitter.

Sure someone's must have a knitting pattern on here for cat's trousers, so you can knit him something to keep his bum warm.

If there are chicken jumper patterns, I can't believe the moggies would have been forgotten  :D

think we really need to see Olivers bumble bee again, just to remind us how handsome he is (don't tell him, it might swell his head :D)
