John Innes Compost
« on: May 09, 2016, 18:07 »
I was delighted to see that the Beechgrove Gardening programme have finally highlighted that John Innes compost is too fine and is compacting.  It will be interesting to see if their mixture of organic compost and John Innes compost works better.  I have been using perlite in mine to try to stop it compacting in the pots.
