Oh don't worry - they all had a good powder this evening and their "coop" gets a regular doing over too. I say coop......6ft blooming shed!! Purchased especially for all 6 of them!!! How spoilt!!! Actually - big fat Gladys had babies (of which Patty was one), so eventually all 10 moved in together!!! The others got rehomed and then there were 6 - in a flipping palace!!! Now there is 5  :( - On the plus side.....there is room for Gladys to have more this year and keep a couple again!!  :)
However just to be on the safe side.....I will be in there with my marigolds on tomorrow!!!

the red mites wont be on her during the day as they go back into hiding (in the sheds nooks and crannies or under the roof felt). The best time to check for red mite is to go into the shed when it is dark and take a torch. If they are present then strip the shed out completely and spray with poultry shield, paying particular attention to the perch ends. Repeat this after one week.
Staffies are softer than you think.

Yeah they had it bad over a year ago so am pretty thorough and on the ball.....I meant really, that there were no signs of irritation or missing feathers etc. However as routine it will be getting a good going over  :)
