I've heard about this stuff, that it's good for storing moisture in the soil when growing in pots.  What sort of plants is it mainly used for??  Many people use it on this board??

HI ,i use vermiculite which is the same sort of stuff.I use it mostly when sowing seeds, either mixed in with compost,or as a fine layer on top of compost, the later helps toa prevent green film forming on the compost, which can happen in a greenhouse.Dont know if this helps you.
