I have just had a debate with my father in law about red mites?

CAn somebody please tell me are the red mites that effect birds the same small red insects that live on brickwork of houses often refferred to as red spiders.

Red spider mite that lives on plants are completely different to those that live on birds.

This answer could be altered for a fiver in a plain brown envelope
