Paxo was looking a bit miserable this morning, think there is another one of those blasted soft shells on the way. Tut. Don't know what else I can do??
So..... anyway, I thought I'd cheer her up by digging over the floor of the run. That did the trick.
Chooks with their view of the garden (looking quite good if I say so myself :).

Paxo is nearest the camera (below), and as you can see has forgotten to be miserable. Tilly in the middle, still threadbare, but a lot better than we she arrived oven ready last year.

They all look really well, it can take a while for some of them to look like chickens again but they get there in the end and they are so lovely.
