Folks,

I didn't get a chance to plant my Sweetpea in October as I was awaiting my new Greenhouse so now I am unsure of when to sow them.

Should I sow them now in a cold Greenhouse or should I sow them in a heated propogator or should I leave them a while longer (hopefully not as the circulation is nearly stopped to my hands from sitting on them ).

Should I sow them in seed compost or general purpose?

Thanks a million everyone - I think I will hedge my bets and plant some now and some next month.  That way I can make myself feel better because if I don't get sowing soon I will burst.

Do you use seed compost or just multi purpose? and should I use the heated propogator or not?

multi purp mine stay indoors until they show and then into the cold greenhouse

Got up early this morning and sowed half my sweet pea seed before I left for work - much calmer for having done some sowing at last.

Oooohhh I have some seeds, I think I'll sow them at the weekend.

How do people sow them?  You always get lots in a little 3" pot from the shops?  I'll go off and have a read!

3 to a 3in pot, is how I do mine. Then plant the 3 together

I use loo roll cardboard inners (?) and have made some paper pots. Safe to say that I have now got about 150 seeds planted....good job I have to supply family and friends with them!
