Making pickle
« on: July 24, 2009, 19:51 »
I've downloaded the recipe for marrow pickle, but I was wondering whether pickle needs to be left for a couple of month to mature like chutney or whether it can be used straight away.

Hope someone can help  :).
My music teacher was right. If you have to make a mistake, make it good and big and loud; with a bit of luck people will think that it was always meant to be like that.

I'm fairly sure it needs time to develop and mature X

Thanks for replying. I wondered if it might as it uses vingegar in the same way as chutney.

I'll try and keep my paws off it until the autumn  :D!
