problem with antirrhinums
« on: May 14, 2019, 09:07 »
we bought in some seed raised antirrhinum about a month ago we pricked them out into trays but they don't seem to be growing very well as we have lost some already  the variety called appeal is a nice antirrhinum but the way things are going we could end up with no antirrhinums

any advise would be much appreciated to save the day :(

The cool weather certainly isn't helping, all my 'babies' are still small and slow growing.
Appeal is quite small when compared with the taller growers, though.

Make sure they aren't too wet, I was going to say give them a dilute liquid feed - but obviously, don't do that if they're already too wet  :D Fingers crossed for them and some warmer weather....

Very prone to damping off.  I'd suggest keeping as dry as possible. If you need to water or apply liquid feed, do so from the bottom.
