Community Allotments
« on: October 01, 2009, 16:06 »
I have recently got a community allotment, which is a normal full allotment divided into six areas with different tenants on each of the areas. Has anybody else experienced this and if so what are the advantages and disadvantages?

I guess the advantage is that you have some space to grow you own!  I wouldn't have thought it was much different to what everyone has on their plots, other than that yours is smaller.  We all have neighbours and learn how to deal with the different personalities at the site.  As long as everyone knows the boundaries I would think it would be fine.

Welcome to the site too by the way!  :D
