Windy!!! Just rescued wheely bin from the middle of the road.  Feel as if house is about to take off.

Wind has calmed a bit since this morning but the rain is still here.

Still very windy.  85mph round the Needles last night.  Been trying to rain all day as well.   We work West Wight (Needles side) but live East Wight which is a bit more sheltered but as the forecast is for the rain to move eastwards, sounds like it is heading our way.

I’ve been saying all day that it’s gone autumnal & then the BBC weather lady said the same. Really strong winds overnight & all day that has had me fearing for my new poly tunnel & really heavy driving rain from all directions

Same here, I can actually open the dripping wet greenhouse

Woke up to calm and brilliant sunshine  so opened the greenhouses and put some washing in the machine.
It has gradually clouded over and the wind is getting up, so I may have to take the washing off the line, before it blows away. I really should have checked the forecast

Not nice, cold wind and light grey.  Put washing on line for 40 mins, then had to ring it in.   I am going to wrap up and go out planting - poor little plants

It has been grey all day here, but is now getting windy again and there is rain blowing about in it all.  It is not that cold, but it seems that way when you are out in it.

got up to a grey but fine day so decided to re-build a piece of wall that had decided to break up overwinter having had my ear bent to fix it from my other half 

so got cracking got the bricks of the wall mixed up the mortar got half way through the job and down came the rain i won't telly you what i said Il leave that to your imagination

is this s---d rain ever going to let up
