Right ok.

Last question!

I guess mash is ground up wheat/barley. So If they get this do they still need the grit? Thinking of getting just barley and wheat as its cheaper! so I would then need grit too right?

Should the grit be mixed with the grains or not?

I've been mixing potato,parsnip,swede, sprout, carrot , well all peelings except onion and leeks and cooking them in the pressure cooker, I mix this with mash twice a day and they LUV it! They have been known to pick the carroty bits out though!
