Is there a easy way that works, I havent heard any cock a doodling yet!  :roll:

Is there one with a bigger coomb and wattles than the other is there one with a smaller coomb and hardley see the wattles


If they have a big coomb and big wattels then its a cockerel and if its got a smaller coomb and you can hardley see the wattles then its got more of a chance to be a hen .

Its very hard, almost impossible with most breeds, to be able to tell at 6 weeks. At this stage you can only compare the ones you have with each other. Wattles and Combs vary in size so much that at 6 weeks nothing is for sure. As Catii says, if you post piccies we may or may not be able to help

HOWEVER, like a lot of things these days you cant always tell the sex of something but the sticky up and hangy down bits :oops:  :shock:
