Glazing beads
« on: April 03, 2011, 22:51 »
as per previous post - I have purchased 2nd hand a Eden Monarch greenhouse.

As I put it together ... is it worth replacing the glazing bead ... this is a slide in neoprene strip.

I assume what is in there has probably compressed & hardened.

I can but it in 21m rolls.
There are those that always like to find fault, if you spot a Typo ... consider put there for you.

As you say the original bead is likely to have deteriorated by now; I would replace it as per original specs given that it's still available (the silicone/vaseline idea is a very neat one if you've got no beading but a hell of a lot of work for an entire greenhouse!)
Sow your seeds, plant your plants. What's the difference? A couple of weeks or more when answering possible queries!

One of the best things about being an orang-utan is the fact that you don't lose your good looks as you get older
