Can anyone recommend a brand of hen friendly wood stain & treatment that they've used (for the coup and other surfaces)?

I have used b&q woodstain was really good. This year i have used ronseal and it's even better. No signs of any problems so far.

I use Cuprinol and no issues with that...i think it says on the tin that its suitable for use on animal/bird housing.

Thank you. I've seen some cuprinol with the colour I want so think ill try it (I couldn't see anything on the tin re: pets/hens)

Well I have always used Wilko's own brand and several of my girls seam to treat it as a cocktail and drink it straight from the tub given half the chance  :blink: :ohmy:  I dosnt seam to have done any of them any halm at all and it didnt turn the eggs green.
