it's better if the temperature is constant for brewing so a house would be better.the best tip I can give to anybody new to brewing is'cleanlines is next too godliness' when it comes to making you'r own brew.OCD is a good thing in these circumstances.Steralize everything to within an inch of it's life.Good luck and like with most things practice makes perfect so don't be put off by a couple of foul tasting brews that might blight your attempts I think we all make mistakes.

What  wine were you thinking of making?

You would be better fermenting at home than in your lotty shed (for more even temprature around 21C) and bring the bottle to the lotty.
