Does anyone have any idea what this might be. It is in a friends garden and was under some leaves.
Had no idea where to post this so please move as appropriate!

Looks like some kind of fungus to me!

It looks like dog vomit fungus/slime mould (and no I'm not making the name up  ::) :D )
