my lou has just gone into her nest box 2 mins ago fingers cossed ill have egg on toast in ten ohhhhhhh eggciting (see what i did there)

One of mine takes about 2 hours :ohmy: It can take a while but others can be quite quick. Sometimes I think they lay the egg and then sit quietly for a bit.  Mine made a lot of noise when they first started laying but thankfully all except one are now quiet.  Hope it is egg no. 2 :D

well the egg came and i ate it it was a double yolker !!!!!!!! so proud .....waiting patiently for another now

Double yolkers are the best, especially in duck eggs which have huge yolks anyway!!!
