Some of you will recall I bought a LED grow lamp in Feb this year and started a number of plants off that bit earlier.

Although we are not at the end of the season I think the results are there now to see.

Tomatoes
 I set off a couple of Shirley & Sweet Million 5 weeks before I germinated the comparison ones.
Compared to those which were set off at the normal time they grew quicker, however the first truss grew about 7 days before the normal, they set fruit, again slightly more in advance but I am eating the normal ones before the earlies 
Chillies
These have been the big success story, they have grew, set fruit and eating much earlier than those sown at normal times.

So this coming winter I shall be sowing the peppers and chillies in Jan once the decs come down and I shall ontinue to sow me toms at my normal sowing date.
