no shame grannie no shame, plenty more room. i'd love a couple of your babies.

they were £6 each, which i thought was a bargain.

i'm used to paying between £10 and £20 for one chook.

except when i bougth the warrens, they were £1.

i have found a local breeder, who has ducks and chooks,

not cheap though, he has

appenzeller, arauncana, barnvelder, jersey giant, leghorn exchequer, maran, buff orpington, black and white silkies, light and buff sussex, araucana bantam, salmon faverolle bantam, frizzle bantam, transylvanian naked neck bantam, nankin bamtam, new hampshire red bantam, sussex light bantam, modern game bantam, blue, buff and gold laced wyandotte bantam, old english game bantam, hamburg silver spangle bantam.

phew, oh to have one of each

£6????  That's very good isn't it?  When I was trawling the net (sounds like I'm fishing!! lol)  There are rearers in Cambridgeshire charging £12.50 for the posher hybrids, like speckeldys)

I had to put mine up to £5.50 though as the feed now cost us £2.65 for each chook!!!  They've nearly eaten through their 3 tonne of feed, and that's excluding the corn and other stuff!

So would you like a couple?  My eldest daughter's boyfriend is coming up for their 15 soon, he's just got to get his house and run sorted as they've filled it with garden equipment and stuff, but I mentioned to him that you were interested, and he said he can always drop you off a couple if you still want them.

If you do, PM me your addy and phone number and I can let you know when he's coming up for them.  I sold another 3 today.  the husband wanted 3 that looked different so he can give them names, but the wife wanted them all white!!!

This is Poppy & Tulip's sister...... Holly Hen

I had a real result Babe, I asked my neighbour if they had a old rabbit hutch, he didn't but has given me a lovely beehive that I had my eyes on, it was in his burning pile!!!!!!! so I have put two bits together for Holly, til she is ready yo go in with the others (Rosie trying to peck her at the mo!!)
Anyway, Dave said we should have called her Honey  LOL!!!

Sorry the pics are so big, having a bit of trouble!!!
Dave also says I will be pacing up & down for about 8 weeks waiting for that first blue egg!!!!!!
Thanks for the coffee, it was great to meet you & Elvis of course!!
Mumsy xx
