Hi all, what PH is best for Tomatoes in tubs in a Polytunnell

I've never really thought about it!
I've always just planted them in a multipurpose compost/garden soil mix or straight into a pocket of bought compost in the greenhouse border. Seems to work, though.

Acidic, but not quite as acidic as their potato cousins. 6.0-6.8 is supposedly ideal and 5.5-7.0 'acceptable'. No idea what pH my soil is - it's clay so guess probably alkaline but my toms do fine in it.
