I planted up 3 different types of courgettes a while back - a baby variety that I forget the name of and then an allbush type and a zuboda type.

When they were all small seedlings, I had them all labelled properly - and then lost all this when I potted them on, so now I don't know which are my baby courgettes and which are my big ones.

So, how will I know when to pick ?  I have a few where the flowers are almost dead, but the courgettes aren't a uniform thickness yet.

Any general tips on when to harvest?

One general tip is don't wait for 'uniform thickness'.  You only get that in Tesco and growing at home is very different to that.  I pick mine when I am worried if I leave them any longer they will turn to marrows, and therefore courgette production will stop.  This has been from 3" to about 7" depending on the day.

Im the same as Elcie, but I didnt grow any baby ones, so am not sure how to go about that

But it doesn't hurt to pick them all as baby size ones
