5 chicks - hatched today by incubation. Now I need your help. I understand that at some stage you can add vinegar to their water to kill??????? Can anyone help me with any details
-
to kill what
-
are you talking about apple cider vinegar which is supposed to be helpfull for chickens guts? or do you mean (and I hope you don't) to kill the chicks?
-
please could you also explain why you have started a poll on this post?
-
at this stage I would just give your chicks chick crumb and plain water (make sure the water is in a chick drinker or a shallow dish which has marbles or similar in as they can drown).
-
I agree with Joyfull, water and chick crumb, leave in inncy for 24hrs so they are properly dry and then move to brooder, they don't need food for first 24 hrs as they are still absorbing the yolk.
Whats the poll for??????
And whats the vinegar for????

Aunt Sally has removed the poll for us as it was confusing :) and at my time of life I am easily confused
