Hi!

I have been reading these forums a lot last couple of days, learning lots of new information. I live in north Wales, and got an overgrown allotment about a month ago, been playing catchup ever since. I've always enjoyed gardening, and have had a tiny veggie plot and have done a lot in containers, but never realised just how much I love gardening until I got this allotment. Lot of hard, exhausting, 'arrive-10am-not-getting-home-until-10.30pm' work, but loving it.

I like keeping my muscles exercised and have silly weight lifting/toning equipment, but I swear, after digging an overgrown plot my muscles have never been in such good shape! Lol.

Anyway a big hello!

Lou

Thanks for the welcome Mrs Bee. In fact, I haven't used my thigh toner or the weights since I got my allotment. You are right, no need. Allotment gives me a much better work out.

As for the username, lol! I spent a long time trying to think of a username - am totally useless at that sort of thing. It was literally all I could think of. Inspiration can come from the strangest of places  :D  ;)

Hi there and welcome  :D

Would you mind adding your location to your profile please, as it helpful to be able to see this with each post and know whereabouts in the world you are? Thank you  :D

Glad you are enjoying your new plot

I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...

Welcome. 'Tis a lovely friendly place.
Just a warning - I actually got some palpitations the other day moving paving slabs about the plot - so don't over do it !
Enjoy and don't work too hard.

Pip pip,

Baldy - You can get cream for palpitations now.

Lou - Welcome and now comes the suggestion of keeping a diary and uploading lots of photographs  :nowink:
