I've just ordered some maiden bare root fruit trees and  soft fruit and have a huge amount of 6' brick wall varius aspects can any one reccommend a good book which would teach me how to do a large range of prunning ie double and tripple cordons and minerettes.

You normally can't go far wrong with the RHS books and there is one on pruning (though it will be a generalist book rather than just fruit).

There's also a range of articles on the RHS website here
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...

Have found "Growing Fruit" by Mary Spiller very good: lots of growing info, & detailed pruning explanations.  Penguin Handbook.

Amazon (other book sellers are available) have a great selection of fruit and veg books so you should be able to get a selection of general and specific fruit care books. 

I like  D G Hessayon but he does believe in better living through chemistry and has a tendency to opt for toxic answers to bug problems.    However, I think his books are set out very clearly for a novice like me.

Hi thanks for the recomendations I saw a few on Amazon but wasn't sure what to go for.

I've got the expert one which is good general advise, but I'm organic too.
