Hi all
I am thinking i would like to have a go at growing some new potatoes next year but am a bit tight on space so thought id get a couple of containers, the thing is i will probably only grow 6 or so plants (i thought id get 2 large containers and grow 3 in each,) so i dont really want to buy 30 or so for £8. Does anyone know where i can buy just a few to see how i get on?
Thanks for any help

Thompson and Morgan sell certain potato varieties in packs of five. Other online merchants don't seem to be listing their 2010 potatoes yet.
Growing potatoes in bags has become so popular that I think you will find small packs of potatoes in garden centres in the New Year.

A lot of garden centres sell in packs of 10. Wilko was selling 5s last year.

If you have to go mail order, my local nursery

do 90 different varieties and will post as few or as many as you wish.

Try Wilkos. Bought 5 charlotte last year for £1. Other varieties available.
