The weather isn’t exactly seasonal, a plague of snails swamping us but tomatoes by the bucket load and French beans by the kilo.

Tomatoes, here, are only just beginning to ripen, and I'm finding that they all have thick skins this year, with the one exception being Rosella.
The runners aren't setting much at all, despite frequent watering, and even good old reliable Cosse Violette is going stringy at about 3ins long - so they're mostly going in the bin. Certainly a weird year for weather ::)
Will I have a cover (plastic) on the greenhouse frame, when I next go to the plot? I doubt it in this wind *sigh*
