Hello All
We r new to chicken keeping done web based research and just got 6 hybrids from a friend (pullets 18wk old) how long b4 lay eggs although this is secondary, dont want to keep disturbing them to check for eggs unless we have to. Thanks  :)
two thing you should never worry about, yesterday and tomorrow.

most hybrids will start to lay somewhere around 24 weeks old, tell tale signs that they are coming into lay is squatting when you go near them and their comb getting bigger and redder.

sorry about the text type its a habit dont just use it on phone use it at work as well once again sorry will try and break habit.
