That's defeatist !!

Diatom is about £9/kg, maybe less in larger quantities.

Cat litter is about 50p/kg or in that order.

If all assumptions about it are true. Without that being confirmed, there is no comparison !

Could be because diatom is 'special' or maybe not.

But I suspect it is.
