« on: December 17, 2012, 21:54 »
Christmas is nearly here and with 4 kids oldest being 14 its been an expensive Christmas.

but i have managed to save a bit extra for a greenhouse, not got a massive budget and only want a little one as my back garden is not very big

maybe i will go for one roughly 6 by 4 foot... budget is 300 not a lot i know but what could i get for that

also is there anythng to avoid....should i also go for tough glass as i have kids ?

thanks

I bought mine (a Halls) from www.primrose.co.uk. Very happy with service and the greenhouse itself.

I would go for toughened glass if at all possible. Polycarbonate is great for strength, but is just so light and flexible it has a tendancy to blow out/away in high winds.

Sorry should have said it was polycarbonate. dont know if it would stand the wind on awide open allotment site om the moors or the like but it has stood up 50 & 30 mph gusts in the garden.
