my chicken have gone into coop to roost  overthe last 3/4 weeks some have not gone into roost there is no sign of red mite  any idea  why

hello, I don't understand why you have added a poll to this post  ???
However you really do need to get your birds into the coup at night - I have some chickens that roost in the trees and it is very worrying as they are at risk from preditors.
Perhaps yours just need re-educating.
