Not as hot as yesterday but good we've just had a quick shower

Well that didn't last long.

Clouded over around 3pm yesterday and went horribly close and sticky. It's been like it ever since  Horrible, sticky, grey and headache inducing.

It was like that yesterday evening and still grey first thing - but it has cleared now, with a slight breeze stirring the air up a bit

We've had some rain, which is good as I was thinking of watering. Grey skies but the clouds should burn off this afternoon and it's a lot cooler. Not so good for sitting out on the patio but better for working outside.

We've had a few days of wonderful dry heat, but that changed yesterday when we had a brief shower and since then we've had cloud cover, which as Mr Lard said has just made it muggy and oppressive. Signs of the clouds breaking just now so hopefully it'll be a bit more pleasant later in the day.

My nose is streaming, I have a stinking headache and my eyes are so itchy I'd like to take them out and wash them..... so I'm guessing the pollen is also high

There's some rain in the forecast, so hopefully no watering to do today

We were forecast a sunny day when I checked last night, but it has been raining steadily for a few hours now.  The plot and the garden will like it, but I wanted to plant all my dwarf beans today
