Bless him, he doesn't know which way to turn in the morning, he has so many options. He is starting to show an interest in the youngsters but the one he can catch is the big bird with the silver neck as she has a wonky foot. But yes, they stick with him all the time. He is a good lad who looks after his flock and will even sit with them while they lay. He's even tolerant of the up and coming cockerel bots, all four of them, though even the smallest are crowing now.

Thank you all, I will pass your compliments on to the big fella and hope his head doesn't swell too much. Even the chap we bought him from is impressed. We have a son of his who we are intending to keep who is the regular black Shumen, he's looking very good at three months.
