How long have they been laying for?
Do they have access to oyster shell?
All lives are precious.

Soft shelled eggs are very common in new layers, it takes time for the mechanics of laying an egg to run smoothly & this means that sometimes hiccups in the system do happen which leads to soft shelled eggs, yolkless eggs, double yolkers etc.

Give them time, their systems will soon settle down & they'll be laying you an ample supply of perfect eggs soon enough  :).

Just make sure they always have access to oyster shell, in case they have calcium deficiancy  :).

I'm sure it's nothing to worry about because they have only just started laying  ;).
