Hi, can any one recomend a green manure i can grow in my raised bed autumn/winter ? I will be growing salad crops, oinons, runner and french beans, and beets next season in this bed.
I would prefere something that was not deep rooted as one of the ideas behind the raised bed was to minimise the amount of digging needed.
the soil is good top soil with a lot of leaf mould at present .
