Seed arrival
« on: January 27, 2019, 09:56 »
Morning all

I have read a couple of threads on here about people that have had bad experiences with seed company’s. I have had a delivery of all seeds from Marshalls and some Rocket potatoes. They were absolutely spot on with quick delivery. Now the fun part of chitting the potatoes and organising were everything will grow on the plot.

Hope things are well for everyone else

Alex

After my order with Marshalls, and their abysmal response to my complaint, I'm boycotting them for two years. All 3 orders were problematic but at least one, Kings Seeds, rectified the issue, great customer service skills and I'll use them again. The rest I'll go and buy myself from a shop so I can choose seed thats not due to go out of date!

I gave justseeds a go this year and can't fault them. Cheap as chips, good dates on the seeds and speedy delivery.

I have been using Premier Seeds Direct and Real Seeds for the past couple of years (Real Seeds for 5+) and have never had an issue, seeds always arrive promptly and have good germination rate. Last year I got over 20 spaghetti squash off 2 plants grown in the polytunnel and grew Solar carrots upto 2lbs in weight  (seeds from Premier)  :D

I use Kings, Real Seeds, Moreveg, and Seedaholic. all have been great over the past few years.  I tried Seekays this year and was well pleased with them too.  I find the big companies just too expensive and don't tend to have what I am looking for.
I can resist anything except temptation.
