Title: Tiny-leaved purple-blue salad decoration.
Post by: Goosegirl on August 25, 2018, 13:50
The other week I went for lunch and had a lovely sandwich with a side salad. One of the salad decorations was a tiny sprig of a purple-leaved plant with a sharp-pointed leaf which had such a nice but unusual taste. I asked the name and it was similar to Cerinthe but don't think it was from that plant. Does anyone know what it is?

Around here they use Red Amaranth or Purple Basil seedlings.

No, it's not that. It had tiny spear-shaped leaves about 0.5 cm long and 0.2 wide. I'll have to ring them up.
