Good afternoon gardeners,
I have read that hardy annuals can be grown this month, but can anyone clarify just how to keep them alive and thriving over the winter?

Wub is a soppy way of saying love as in ‘Wub you’.  Assume baby voice and puppy dog eyes before trying it out   

Hardy annuals over winter fine as small seedlings, but can get frosted if they have grown larger. It is still quite summery feeling, so I am holding off sowing any yet.

Various annuals all doing well, the California poppies are a bit slow.  I' ve constructed a inner cloche to cover them (what else)!  One from bubble wrap and  one from plain clear plastic sheeting to see if there is any advantage of one over the other.  I've still got the ability to uncover when the sun shines.
