can someone tell me how to resise a picture to post on here to the size that the site needs please?

I followed this link downloaded the software but it wants me to pay for it or theres a big watermark over my picture is this correct? is there another way to resise?

I just 'Googled' resize pictures and downloaded a program from one of the answers on there.It's free and easy to use.
It's better to burn out than to fade away !!     ;)

The usual programme that you open pictures with on your computer will probably have 'Images' somewhere along the top. Click it and there should be a resize option. As you can see I know all the technical jargon.

Don't know what software you've got, Salmo. My default is Windows Photo Gallery which has no such option.

I think I have windows 7 and like yourself I dont have the option to resize. Thanks for the new website to download however i am finding it very confusing and i wouldnt class myself as a complete novice when it comes to computers. Why is it so difficult?? jen

I find the Photobucket way is the easiest. Does all the re-sizing for you automatically, you you then copy/paste the img link.
